Starting on July 24, the Wienermobile will be made available to rent on Airbnb. The company announced this special offering in honor of National Hot Dog Day. According to Oscar Mayer, the iconic Wienermobile can be booked for one night stays on Airbnb, with the listing officially going live next week. The vehicle, described as a “27 foot-long hot dog on wheels,” is one of the world’s most iconic vehicles. For the Airbnb listing, the Weinermobile will be tricked out with a bed and other furniture for those lucky enough to book it. The experience can be had for the low price of $136 for the night. The company said Wienermobile’s availability will coincide with the first three days of Lollapalloza in Chicago, on August 1, 2, and 3. Because of the extremely limited dates, they are expected to sell out very quickly, so those looking to spend the night in the iconic vehicle might have to book it as soon as the listing goes live. The vehicle will be parked near the city’s downtown area for a memorable experience. And while there is no bathroom inside the Wienermobile, there is one positioned just outside of the temporary residence. A mini-fridge inside the Wienermobile will also be stocked with hot dogs and all of the fixings for a Chicago-style hot dog.
